HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover College Athletic Department, in conjunction with streaming partner BlueFrame Technology, is pleased to announce the creation of the Hanover Sports Network.
The Hanover Sports Network will allow fans to watch live streaming action of home events, beginning this fall with men's and women's soccer and volleyball. As the 2018-19 season continues, we will be adding more coverage options of our athletic teams.
"We are excited to be partnering with BlueFrame Technology for the upcoming year," stated Hanover sports information director, Tyler Jester. "With the launching of a new athletic website last year and now a digital sports network available to stream live athletic events, we are always looking for ways to provide up-to-the-minute coverage for Hanover alums and fans."
The Hanover Sports Network can be accessed through the Hanover athletic website by clicking the link under the "Inside Athletics" tab. Video links will also be available to corresponding events on each team's schedule page.
Not only will broadcasts be available online but fans will also have the ability to watch Hanover athletic events on their television through Over-the-Top (OTT) applications. The sports network is available on television streaming devices by searching for "Team1Sports" and can be found on the following platforms – Amazon Fire, Android TV, Apple TV and Roku.
"We are so happy to be partnering with a college that is so close in distance to our office in Lexington, Kentucky," said Josh Braun, Director of Sales at BlueFrame Technology. "I am excited to see how they expand their production value using our software and service."
When visiting the Hanover Sports Network, viewers will find two tabs near the top of the page. The one labeled "Live/Upcoming" will give viewers a chance to see all of the events currently being streamed or broadcasts that have been scheduled to air at a later date. The tab "On Demand" will allow viewers access to previously streamed events that have been archived.
