HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover College Athletic Department has announced Lorieanne Rinehart as head coach of the Panthers STUNT program.
The announcement was made in August that Hanover would sponsor a STUNT program beginning in 2020-2021.
Hanover College joins 29 member schools across the NCAA who compete in College STUNT.
Rinehart joins the athletic staff at Hanover after serving as the South Dearborn High School cheer coach since 2015, leading the program to two state qualifiers. She honed her coaching skills with a stint at Pride Cheer Academy where she instructs gymnastics.
She currently competes as a member of Team USA in affiliation with the Pride Cheer Academy and will be traveling to Japan in November to take part in an STUNT competition.
The southeastern Indiana native has been a part of competitive cheer her whole life ranging from elementary school to high school where she competed on the first South Dearborn state qualifying team.
Rinehart graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a certificate in Spanish.
