Keaton Conner comes back for his third season with the Hanover baseball coaching staff. He will resume his role as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. In 2019, Coach Conner mentored a pitching staff that saw its win total nearly double, while reducing the staff k/bb ratio significantly. He also had the opportunity to mentor David Herrmann, who was selected the programs first All Region performer since 2003.
Conner began his collegiate career at Danville Area Community College. Upon completing his time at DACC he transferred to Concordia University Chicago and went 11-6 on the bump in a span of two years. Tossing 134.2 innings and compiling 121 strikeouts. The Cougars finished ranked among the top ten in the nation while Conner was a member of the team and were ranked as high as #2 in the nation in 2018. In both seasons, they appeared in the NCAA D3 College World Series, finishing ranked 3rd and 7th in the nation respectively. Upon completion of his collegiate career, Coach Conner pitched professionally in the Frontier League for the Schaumburg Boomers and the Evansville Otters. Following the 2019 season, he pitched professionally for the Trinidad Triggers of the Pecos League.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Coach Conner graduated with B.A. in Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago in 2018. He resides in Hanover, Indiana.
