HANOVER, Ind. - Junior, kicker, Austin Steurer (Warsaw, Ky.) was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
The Panther PAT streak remains alive as Steurer went a perfect 8-for-8, moving his season total to 41 points, the most by any kicker in the Conference.
The junior currently ranks sixth in the NCAA in total PAT points and is only one of two kickers with 40 or more attempts to register a perfect record.
As a team, Hanover has now made 43-of-43 PAT tries, ranking them the best in the HCAC.
The Blue and Red return to action on Saturday, November 2 when they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on Mt. St. Joseph. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
