HANOVER, Ind. – Coming off of its most successful outing, the Hanover men's golf team will look to continue its strong play this weekend when they host their annual invitational in Seymour, Ind., at Shadowood Golf Course.

ROGERS NAMED GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Rogers experienced his lowest 36-hole output of the season last weekend at the Rose-Hulman Invitational, 147, earning him HCAC Golfer of the Week honors. Rogers placed ninth at the RHIT-hosted outing and his second round 72 tied a season-best. On the season, the senior has the second lowest 18-hole average on the tea, 77.31.
PANTHERS POST BEST PERFORMANCE: Rogers was not the only Panther to go low last weekend, as eight different Hanover golfers turned in a scorecard in the 70s. As a team, HC logged its top two scoring rounds of the season at Hulman Links, 301 and 299, placing fourth in the field of 12 teams.
UNDERCLASSMEN BUILDING MOMENTUM: Murray, Wade and Zapp are all coming off top 25 finishes at last weekend's tournament and are among the team leaders in scoring average. Wade leads the team at 76.38 and has placed among the top 25 in all four of his appearances this season.
UP NEXT: Hanover is slated to return to action for the annual Big Four Classic next Tuesday, April 10. Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. will host the one-day event.
