Men's Golf Claims a Fourth Place Finish at the Dick Park Invitational

FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Hanover men's golf team finished fourth overall in the 10-team field at the Dick Park Invitational hosted by Franklin College.

The Panthers were led by senior Austin Zapp (Union, Ky.) who finished tied for ninth with a two-day score of 149 strokes (77-72).

Sophomore Luke Van Leeuwen (Kettering, Ohio) finished 20th overall with 155 strokes (80-75), followed by junior Charlie Bullerdick (New Market, Ind.) and senior John Summerlin (Indianapolis, Ind.) with a 23rd place finish and 157 strokes.

Rounding out the field for the Panthers was Garrett Valentine finishing tied for 42nd with 163 strokes (79-84).

Depauw won the team title with 585 strokes, followed by Parkland with 587 strokes.

The Blue and Red return to action on Saturday, September 28 as they host the HC match play championship.
