Brandon Tereshko will enter his second season as the Head Coach of the Hanover College men's and women's golf teams.

Tereshko took over as the head coach for both golf teams after longtime Hanover athletic coach and supporter, Wayne Perry, announced his retirement at the conclusion of the 2017-18 campaign. Tereshko comes to the College after serving as the head men's and women's golf coach at St. Andrews University, a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics institution (NAIA) based in North Carolina. Prior to leading the Knights' golf programs, Tereshko was an assistant for his alma mater, Taylor University (Ind.) for one year.

In 2018-19, he led the men's team to a third place finish at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, while landing three All-Conference honorees the most since the 1999 season. He guided the program to five top five finishes, including three second place finishes.

On the women's side, he captured a third place finish at the HCAC Championships and lead the team to five top five finishes. Tereshko guided the program to a first place finish in it's season opener at the Olivet Labor Day Classic.

In his two-year stint at the NAIA institutions, Tereshko guided two teams, one men and one women, to a conference championship. At Taylor, the Trojans earned a total of nine victories, five on the men's side and four by the women's team.

Tereshko also spent nine years as a golf course assistant at nearby Sunrise Falls Golf Course in Madison, Ind., where he managed golf course operations, coordinated and directed high school and college tournaments, conducted summer camps for children, and performed club fittings and repairs. During his stint in Madison, Tereshko also served as a volunteer assistant for the Hanover golf programs from 2014-2016.

A standout athlete at Taylor, Tereshko finds his name littered in the program's all-time record book. Also, he recently competed in the 2018 Indiana Amateur Championship, where he made the cut and finished among the top 60 in the field of 162 golfers. In the 2017 edition of the amateur championship, Tereshko was a top-10 finisher.  At Taylor, Tereshko was a two-time all-Crossroads Conference performer (2012, 2013), posted 11 top 10 finishes and was the NAIA national leader in par five scoring and sub-par strokes per round in 2014.

A 2017 graduate of Taylor University, Tereshko received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
