HANOVER, Ind. - The Hanover men's swimming team will look to capture its first head-to-head victory of the 2018 season as they travel to Anderson this weekend.

The Panthers will square off against the Ravens, with races scheduled to commence at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10. The meet will take place in Anderson, Ind. at the Bennett Natatorium.

The Blue and Red placed fifth out of seven teams in the Indiana Division III Championships, their only outing to date, and third out of five among Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foes. In the individual events, junior Alex Maldeney (Fort Wayne, Ind.) aided Hanover with a fourth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.29 seconds.

Maldeney also chipped in on the relays, as he, along with freshmen Louis Holbrook (Greenfield, Ind.), James Moll (Tipton, Ind.) and Will Morgan (Lapel, Ind.) placed fifth in the 400-yard freestyle relay, clocking in at 3:28.69. Maldeney, Holbrook, and Moll additionally ran in the 200-yard medley with freshman Kyle Pfaffenberger (Seymour, Ind.) who notched a sixth-place showing.

Hanover's next plunge into the pool will occur on Saturday, Nov. 17, when they will trek to Franklin to face the host Grizzlies, Thomas More, and Transylvania.
