Men's Swimming & Diving Competes at Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Panthers opened Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday with a trip to Franklin where the Blue and Red fell, 214-46.

Hanover was paced by senior Alex Maldeney (Fort Wayne, Ind.) winning the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 22.35.

The senior also tallied a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 49.85.

Sophomore Will Morgan (Lapel, Ind.) registered a strong finish in the 100-yard breaststroke finishing the swim in a time of 1:05.71 for a third-place mark, while also taking third in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 52.29.

Sophomore Kyle Pfaffenberger (Seymour, Ind.) took third in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:33.91.

In the 200-yard freestyle sophomore Louis Holbrook (Greenfield, Ind.) claimed a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:58.47.

Holbrook teamed up with Morgan, sophomore James Moll(Tipton, Ind.), and Maldeney for a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay in a time of 1:31.08.

Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 16 when they welcome Lindsey Wilson to Southwestern High School. Match time is set for 1 PM.
