HANOVER, Ind. – Coming off a season opening victory in their home invitational, the Hanover men's cross country team will travel to Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio this weekend, Sept. 15, for the 2018 Otterbein Invitational.

This will be the first year the Red and Blue have competed in this event and they will face off against stiff competition from several Ohio schools.

Senior Jacob Hedrick (Memphis, Ind.) will look to continue his success after taking home individual honors at the Hanover Invite and being named the HCAC runner of the week for the fourth time in his career. He will be joined by teammates Hayden Veach (Shelbyville, Ind.) and Andy Vilardo (Bloomington, Ind.) who will look to build on solid top ten performances from a couple of weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the Panthers will turn to sophomore Andrew Clegg (Indianapolis, Ind.) and freshman Cooper Hanson (Greenfield, Ind.) to round out their scoring five.

The race is set to begin at 10:45 a.m. on the campus of Otterbein University where the host Cardinals—who rank fourth in the Great Lakes Region coaches' poll—won last year's event with 25 points.
