Softball announces date for Prospect Camp

HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover softball team has announced the date for its upcoming prospect camp.

The Panthers will host high school student-athletes for a one-day training session on Sunday, January 28, with the goal to give them the chance to interact with players and coaches in an intercollegiate setting.

The camp will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and registration can be done prior to the start of the camp or the day of. Registration prior to the day of camp will be $75, while walk-up registration will cost $85. However, spots to participate are limited to 70, so registration ahead of time is recommended.

Under the guidance of new head coach Cori Eckerle and her staff, athletes will experience a hitting and two defensive sessions to perform skills at primary and secondary positions.

The Blue and Red have seen a fair amount of success in recent years, having made the conference tournament championship in two of the last three seasons. In 2016, Hanover captured its first HCAC tournament championship and its first NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
