Prior to last week, the Panthers had gone 3-3 against HCAC foes, including a doubleheader sweep at Anderson, 7-4 in 10 innings and 7-5. Senior Allison Wiseman (New Albany, Ind.) went 2-1 in the circle, which included her third career complete game shutout, as she allowed no runs on three hits in an 8-0 triumph over Rose-Hulman. At the plate, sophomore Brittney Ralston (Hanover, Ind.) batted .385 and posted an on-base percentage of .529.

300 CLUB: A trio of everyday starters for HC are currently batting over .300, led by junior Shelby Edington (New Goshen, Ind.). Edington leads the Blue and Red un batting average (.400), runs scored (18), RBI (15) and home runs (3). After her stellar week at the plate, Ralston has raised her averaged to .318 and has hit safely in six of the last eight games. Sophomore Mackenzie Smith (Jeffersonville, Ind.) is batting .302 and has a team-high seven stolen bases.

PANTHER PITCHING: The Panthers have six shutouts as a team, which ranks second in the HCAC and is among the top 50 teams in NCAA Division III as well. Beurman leads the conference and ranks 23rd nationally with 115 strikeouts and is 32nd across Division III in strikeout-to-walk ratio, 5.75.
