HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover College softball program has released its 2020 schedule featuring several chances to catch the Blue and Red at Kops-Bedel Stadium under the guidance of third year head coach Cori Collinsworth.

The Panthers 2020 slate currently features 37 games, with 18 coming at Kops-Bedel Stadium. 10 games will come on the road with the remaining nine being held at neutral sites.

Hanover opens the campaign with the eight neutral site games in Clermont, Florida as part of the Spring Games. The Blue and Red will face Cabrini (Pa.) in the season opener on Sunday, February 23 and close out the trip with Capital on Thursday, February 27. The trip will also feature matchups with Alma (Mich.), St. Joseph's (Brkln) and Northern Vermont-Johnson.

The non-conference portion of the schedule continues with a trip to Hope on Saturday, March 7 before returning home for a six-game home stint featuring NCAC Tournament finalist Denison on Sunday, March 8. The Panthers welcome Capital on Tuesday, March 14 for Alumni Day, holding a perfect 4-0 overall record against the Crusaders under the guidance of Collinsworth. The home stint closes with non-conference opponent Wilmington on Tuesday, March 17 before opening Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action at area rival Franklin on Sunday, March 22.

The Panthers welcome Defiance for a double header on Saturday, March 28 before playing host to SLIAC Tournament finalist Spalding on Sunday March 29. The Golden Eagles and Panthers split in 2019 as the Blue and Red knocked off Spalding 10-1 as part of game two in Louisville, Ky.

The conference component picks back up at Rose-Hulman on Wednesday, April 1 before heading north to Manchester on Saturday, April 4. The Panthers welcome Mount St. Joseph on Tuesday, April 7 and Anderson on Saturday, April 11 for Senior Day.

The season will wrap up with a trip to Ohio to take on the Beavers of Bluffton on Saturday, April 18 before closing out conference action with 2019 HCAC Tournament Champion, Transylvania on Tuesday, April 21. Iowa Wesleyan wraps up the regular season on Friday, April 24 at Kops-Bedel Stadium.
