Women's Basketball Travels to Louisville, Ky. for Contest with Spalding

HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover women's basketball team will travel to Louisville, Ky. to square off with Spalding University on Friday evening. Tip-off between the Panthers and Golden Eagles is set for 7:00 PM.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Blue and Red enter the contest averaging 45.5 points per game after opening the season 1-1 overall at the Hope Tip-Off Classic defeating St. Mary's (Ind.). Senior Alexis Nall (Mount Vernon, Ind.) leads the team's offensive efforts averaging a team-best 14.5 ppg while shooting 33.3 percent from the floor.

TRIO OF SENIORS: Nall is joined by senior teammates Katie Hartman (Madison, Ind.) and Kristin Mills (Cincinnati, Ohio) averaging 8.0 ppg apiece. The trio have combined for more than half of the teams 91 points this season averaging a combined 30.5 ppg while pulling in 16.5 rebounds per contest.

NALL LEADING THE PACK: The D3hoops.com preseason All-American currently ranks among the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference best in points per game (14.5), rebounds per contest (7.0) and total points (29). She closed week one of the season shooting 83.3 percent from charity stripe.

SCOUTING SPALDING: The Golden Eagles enter the contest 1-2 overall after defeating Beloit, 62-40. Spalding is led this season by Maleah Hirn averaging 12.0 ppg while teammates Hunter Wright and Allison Just are both averaging 9.3 ppg respectively. As a team, the Golden Eagles have netted 169 total points averaging 56.3 per contest.
