CARMEL, Ind. – Senior Alexis Nall (Mount Vernon, Ind.) garnered her fourth Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honor for the 2019-20 campaign announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
The senior finished the week averaging 26.5 points per game while shooting 21-of-31 from the floor. She currently leads the HCAC in points per game (17.8), rebounds per game (8.9), field goal percentage (56.6) and three-point percentage (46.3). Her 56.6 percent mark from the field also landed her among the top 25 in the country, ranking 21st among Division III.
Nall posted double-digit scoring in both of the team victories last week, netting a game-high 26 points against Franklin before chipping in a game-high 27 points at Earlham. Her double-digit explosion tallied 16 overall games on the season, with six coming in the Panthers' last seven contests.
After the sweep of Franklin and Earlham, the Panthers have now won seven straight and hold a 14-6 overall record with a 13-1 HCAC mark.
The Blue and Red return to the hardwood on Wednesday, February 12 as they travel to Anderson. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM.
