INDIANPOLIS, Ind. - The Hanover women's golf team was selected third in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason poll announced Monday morning by the league office.
The Panthers gathered 70 points, while Transylvania claimed the top spot with 87 points and six first place votes followed by Rose-Hulman with 83 points and the final three first place votes.
Hanover returns a core of its team that finished third last season at the HCAC Championship with a two round score of 697 strokes, paced by Dayna Dale (Andrews, Ind.) with a 14th place finish. Hanover also returns senior Allison Goodwin (Lebanon, Ind.), sophomores Kennedy Easton (Borden, Ind.), and Hannah Julow (Evansville, Ind.) who were all placed on the preseason players to watch list.
Head Coach Brandon Tereshko guided the program to five top five finishes in 2018-19, including a first place finish in the teams opening weekend at Olivet.
