JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. – The Hanover women's golf team competed as part of the Rose-Hulman / Franklin Invitational on Saturday and Sunday finishing third in the three team field. The event was hosted at the Legends of Indiana Golf Club a par 72 course.
Rose-Hulman won the team title with 611 (299-312) strokes, while Franklin took second with 687 (344-343) strokes and the Panthers third with 704 (349-355) strokes.
Pacing the field for Hanover was junior Dayna Dale (Andrews, Ind.) who finished tied for seventh with a two day score of 170 (87-83) strokes.
Teammate sophomore Kennedy Easton (Borden, Ind.) finished 11th overall in the 21 player field with 174 (86-88) strokes, while senior Abbey Woodard (Crawfordsville, Ind.) carded a 176 (87-89) finishing 12th overall.
Freshman Taylor Drake (Franklin, Ind.) finished tied for 14th with 184 (89-95) strokes andsophomore Hannah Julow(Evansville, Ind.) rounded out the team score finishing 16th overall with 187 (90-97) strokes.
The Blue and Red return to the course on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 as they compete in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Bluffton University.
