CARMEL, Ind. - Senior Julia Long (Cincinnati, Ohio) was named the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week announced this afternoon by the league office.
The senior dominated the goal this past week as she charted 16 saves on 26 shots faced. She posted a 61.5 save percentage in the team's victory over Trine.
After the weekend, Long moved into first place in saves among the HCLC with 35 and third in save percentage at 55.6.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, March 4 as they travel to DePauw. Game time is slated for 7:0 PM between the Panthers and Tigers.
