HANOVER, Ind. – Sophomore Amanda Carmosino (Noblesville, Id.) was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
Carmosino helped guide the Panthers to a 2-0 overall week as they defeated Millikin 2-1 and Sewanee 1-0.
The sophomore improved to 2-2 overall on the year after helping the Panthers to their first clean sheet of the season. Carmosino registered 180 minutes in frame with a total 12 saves, posting a .923 save percentage.
She currently ranks among the league's best in goals against average at 1.50 and saves with 24.
Hanover returns to the pitch on Saturday, September 14 as they host Wittenberg. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
