Women's Track & Field Competes in Tiger Small College Invite

HANOVER, Ind. – The Panther women's track and field team will head to Greencastle, Ind. for the Tiger Small College Invite hosted by DePauw University on Friday, February 7.

JOE BANKS REVIEW: Freshman Zaleeya Martin (Shelbyville, Ind.) and senior Kenna Hunter (Mooresville, Ind.) continued to be driving forces for the Blue and Red this past weekend at the Joe Banks Invitational hosted by Ohio Northern University. Martin moved into second all-time among HC runners in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.05 seconds, while Hunter garnered top ten finishes in three separate events. The senior took third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.93, while also claiming a third place mark in the high jump and a 10th place finish in the long jump.

Also finding success, was sophomore Arig Tong (Columbus, Ind.) who continued to make strides in the 3,000-meter run moving into fourth all-time with a time of 10:43.17.

Sophomore Mariah Grider (North Vernon, Ind.) recorded a personal best in the weight throw, while teammates junior Emily Jones (Pendleton, Ind.) hit a PR in the pole vault and Sawyer Osmun (Fishers, Ind.) in the 800-meter run.
