Martin and Jones Pace Panthers in Last Chance Meet

ANDERSON, Ind. - The Hanover women's track and field team competed as part of the Fred Wilt last chance meet hosted by Anderson University on Saturday evening. The meet was not scored. 

The Blue and Red were paced by junior Emily Jones (Pendleton, Ind.) and freshman Zaleeya Martin (Shelbyville, Ind.).

Martin tied the school record in the 60-meter dash winning the event in a time of 8.30 seconds. The freshman tied her previous school record time set earlier this season as part of the Tiger Small College Classic. 

In the pole vault, Jones recorded a new personal best height of 3.35 meters taking second overall in the event. 

Senior Kenna Hunter will be in action this weekend as she competes as part of the Ohio Northern last chance meet. The trip is scheduled for Friday, March 6.
