CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2019 Volleyball All-Conference teams on Monday afternoon with the Panthers landing four student-athletes on the list.
Earning First Team honors were sophomore Kelsey Ketcham (Mishawaka, Ind.), sophomore Emma Rolf (Lebanon, Ind.), and senior Ally Williams (Fountaintown, Ind.), while freshman Adrianne Vance (Indianapolis, Ind.) was named Honorable Mention and a part of the All-Freshman team.
Ketcham, a All-HCAC tonurament team selection, appeared in 28 matches and 104 sets for the Blue and Red dishing out a team-leading 841 assists. The sophomore setter averaged 8.09 assists per set while registering 92 kills. Ketcham eclipsed the 40 assists mark on five separate occasions including a season-high 49 in two separate outings.
Rolf played in all 29 matches for the Panthers as an outside hitter. The sophomore finished the season with a team-high 306 kills, averaging 2.81 kills per set. Rolf also added 260 digs and 52 total blocks, ranking her second among the team. She registered double digit kills in 16 separate contests including a three-game stretch of a season-best 17 kills.
Williams, the senior defensive specialist, posted a team-high 629 digs averaging 5.77 digs per set ranking her third among the HCAC. The DS turned in five games of 30 or more digs, including a season-best 40 in the team's victory over Defiance. The senior finished her career with 1,497 total digs and 213 total assists.
Vance rounded out the awards for the Panthers as she had a stellar freshman campaign. The outside hitter led the team averaging 3.13 kills per set while finishing second on the team in kills, 300. Vance added 32 total blocks with 103 digs at 1.07 digs per set.
The Panthers finished the season 18-11 overall, 7-2 HCAC and made their ninth straight Tournament appearance dating back to the 2010 season.
