Panthers Register Strong Performance at the Greater Louisville Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Hanover Women's Cross Country team posted a strong performance at the Pre National meet hosted in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers were led in the meet by sophomore Arig Tong (Columbus, Ind.) leading all Panther runners across the finish line in a time of 14:25.2. The time was good enough for a 30th place finish.

Following Tong across the finish line was freshman Leah Anders (Rising Sun, Ind.) in 77th place in a time of 14:49.1.

Sophomore Brianna Medcalf (Central, Ind.) posted a strong run with a time of 15:05.1, while teammate, senior Ariel Barlow (Francesville, Ind.) ran the course in a time of 15:25.7.

Rounding out the scoring for Hanover was senior Caitlyn Naghdi (Carmel, Ind.) with a time of 15:35.0.

The team returns to action on Saturday, October 19 as they travel to Oberlin for the Inter-Regional Rumble.
