HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover men's and women's swim teams hit the road this weekend for a dual meet with Rose-Hulmman. The meet is slated to begin at 2:00 PM.
REWIND: The Panthers season-opening contest came with a trip to Anderson on Saturday, January 16. On the men's side, Hanover fell 121-54 but were paced by freshman
Josh Jones (Richmond, Ind. / Richmond) with two top three marks. The freshman claimed first place in the 200-yard free, while taking second place in the 100-yard free. Teammates, junior
Davis Guthier (Fort Thomas, Ky. / Highlands) and junior
James Moll (Tipton, Ind. / Tipton) rounded out the first-place finishes for the Blue and Red. Guthier won the 100-yard fly, while Moll took the top spot in the 100-yard back.
On the women's side, the Panthers dropped the meet 104-80 but leading the charge for the Panthers were sophomore
Ilys Anderson (Hebron, Ky. / Conner Senior), sophomore
Maddie Difilippo (Cincinnati, Ohio / Turpin) and freshman
Claire Horn (Lexington, Ky. / Lexington Chrisitan). Anderson claimed a first-place finish in the 100-yard free with a time of 59.16, while Horn won the 100-yard back in a time of 1:05.34. Difilippo claimed the top spot in the 100-yard fly with a time of 1:04.06.
