Box Score DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Hanover Panthers remain perfect in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action as they defeated Defiance on Saturday afternoon, 1-0.
With the win, Hanover improves to 10-3-1 overall and 6-0-0 HCAC.
The Panthers lone goal came early in the opening frame as senior
Evan Redmon (Louisville, Ky.) played a ball to senior
Luke Eppler (Evansville, Ind.) who was able to beat the Yellow Jacket goalkeeper for the strike, 1-0.
Hanover got several looks on frame, tallying a game-high 14 shots with nine on goal. Leading the attack was senior
Josh Hughes (Lafayette, La.) with a game-high five shot.
In frame, sophomore
Luciano Salemi (Indianapolis, Ind.) picked up his 8
th win of the season as he charted two saves through 90 minutes of work.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 20 when they welcome Rose-Hulman. Game time is set for 3:30 PM.
