Box Score BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Panthers wrapped up Homecoming weekend with an overtime thriller as they defeated Bluffton 2-1. With the win, HC moves to 6-3-1 overall, 2-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action.

Carlos Schryver (Sao Paulo, Brazil) paced the attack as he provided two goals, including the game winner in overtime.
The first half saw Bluffton deliver a strike in the 39
th minute that propelled them into the half with the slight 1-0 advantage.
However, HC continued to apply the pressure as they were able to erase the deficit late in the second stanza. Schryver proved the goal as he took a pass from senior
Josh Hughes (Lafayette, La.) in the 80
th minute that set the stage for an overtime thriller.
The back-an-forth battle continued into overtime as Hanover was able to secure the HCAC victory on a Schryver goal late in extra time. The goal marked his fourth on the season, second of the afternoon.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 6 when they take on Transylvania. Game time is slated for 3:30 PM.
