HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover men's soccer team gears up for a pair of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest this week. The Panthers will welcome Franklin on Tuesday before heading to Manchester on Saturday.
Visiting fans and general public fans are not permitted to attend HCAC contest this season.
HANOVER GAME NOTES:
- The Panthers enter the week at 3-1 overall after defeating Defiance 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.
- Hanover saw three different players record goals in the contest, senior
Brad Simpson (Allen, Texas), freshman
Xander Ochsner (Floyds Knobs, Ind.) and freshman
Dawt Thang (Indianapolis, Ind.).
- The Blue and Red are led this season by senior
Ian Waldrop (Luisville, Ky.) with a team-high three goals for six points.
- In frame, senior
Will Bedel (Walton, Ky.) has made four starts with 10 saves. The senior has recorded a 3-1 overall record.
FRANKLIN GAME NOTES:
- The Grizzlies enter the week at 0-4 overall after falling to Mt. St. Joseph 2-1.
- Franklin was paced in the contest by Dany Escamilla with a team-best four shots, two of which were on frame. He also netted one goal.
- Escamilla and teammate Eddy Yousak are leading the Grizzlies this season with one goal apiece.
In goal, Elliot Clark has made three starts with 17 saves. He enters the week with a 0-3 overall record.
MANCHESTER GAME NOTES:
- The Spartans open the week at 3-1 overall after defeating Earlham 1-0.
- Manchester was led by Julian Keough with the game-winning strike.
- Cory Mitchell leads the Spartans with a team-best two goals and four points.
- Adrian De Leon has made four starts in goal with eight saves for Manchester.
- Manchester will take on Rose-Hulman on Wednesday before coming to Hanover on Saturday.
