HANOVER, Ind. – It is with a heavy heart that we announce our withdraw from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Swim Championships hosted by Rose-Hulman this weekend. Due to Covid concerns we felt it was the safest measure for both the well-being of our student-athletes, as well as those competing.
It is a tough way for our student-athletes to see their season end, but we look forward to the continued success and what the 2022 HCAC championships will bring as both the men and women return a full squad.
On the men's side, Hanover returns junior

These student-athletes displayed great success all throughout the 2021 season. As part of the season-opening meet at Anderson, the Panthers claimed top finishes in the 200-yard free (Jones), 100-yard fly (Guthier), 100-yard free (Jones), 100-yard back (Moll), and the 500-yard free (Bray).
The success continued as they traveled to Rose-Hulman taking top honors in the 200-yard freestlye (Griffith), 100-yard backstroke (Jones), 100-yard freestyle (Wilson, Morgan), 200-yard backstroke (Moll), 500-yard freestyle (Moll, Guthier), 100-yard butterfly (Griffith) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (Morgan, Griffith, Moll, Wilson; Guthier, Bray, Pfaffenberger, Jones).
The final meet of the season saw the Blue and Red square off with Franklin. In the meet, Hanover claimed top finishes in the 1650-yard freestyle (Jones), 200-yard freestyle (Griffith), 100-yard butterfly (Griffith), 100-yard freestyle (Wilson), 100-yard backstroke (Moll), and 100-yard breaststroke (Morgan).
The women will also look to a strong core in 2022 as they welcome back freshman

The opening meet at Anderson saw the Panthers capture top honors in the 1000-yard free (Simmons), 200-yard free (Hoskins), 50-yard free (Anderson), 200-yard IM (Boyt), 100-yard fly (DiFillippo), 100-yard free (Anderson, Hoskins), 100-yard back (Horn, Simmons), and 100-yard breast (Boyt, Bolinger).
They then went to Rose-Hulman where they took the top spots in the 200-yard medley relay (Boyt, Bolinger), 200-yard freestyle (DiFillippo, Garbison), 100-yard backstroke (Anderson, Simmons, Horn), 100-yard breaststroke (Boyt), 50-yard freestyle (Anderson, Bolinger), 100-yard freestyle (Simmons, Hoskins), 200-yard backstroke (Brandt), 200-yard breaststroke (Boyt, Bolinger), 500-yard freestyle (Hoskins, Quinn), 100-yard butterfly (DiFillippo), and the 200-yard freestyle relay (Anderson, Brandt, Horn, Simmons).
The 2021 season closed out with a visit from Franklin and Hanover taking top marks in the 200-yard medley relay (Simmons, Bolinger, DiFillippo, Anderson), 200-yard freestyle (Simmons), 50-yard freestyle (Anderson), 100-yard backstroke (Brandt), 100-yard breaststroke (Boyt), and 200-yard freestyle relay (Anderson, Horn, Brandt, Simmons).
