Box Score ANDERSON, Ind. – Senior Ian Waldrop (Louisville, Ky.) netted a game-high two goals to lead Hanover past Anderson on Saturday afternoon, 4-1. With the victory, the Panthers improve to 2-0 overall on the season.
 
Waldrop paced the way for Hanover as he netted two goals on two shots. Teammates, senior Josh Hughes (Lafayette, La.) and junior Felipe Busato (Sao Paulo, Brazil) added one goal apiece.
 
The Panthers struck early as a Hughes goal at the 7:33 mark saw Hanover claim the 1-0 lead. They extended the lead moments later as Waldrop found the back of the net for the 2-0 advantage.
 
Hanover provided one final first half goal at the 31-minute mark as Busato beat the defense to give the Panthers the convincing 3-0 lead. Anderson would finally find the net with just under 10 minutes to play to enter the break trailing 3-1.
 
The second half saw Waldrop strike again as he netted the game's final goal just minutes into the period off an assist by Hughes. The Panthers finished the contest with a game-high 20 shots, 11 which landed on frame. In frame, senior Will Bedel (Walton, Ky.) collected the win making three saves.
 
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, March 10 when they travel to Transylvania. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
