HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover women's basketball team advances to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship for the second consecutive season taking on Transylvania. Tip-off from Lexington, Ky. on Wednesday, March 10 is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
HANOVER IN THE HCAC TOURNAMENT: In the last seven seasons, Hanover has advanced to the championship three times, including back-to-back appearances in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. Last season saw the Panthers compete for an HCAC Tournament title, where they dropped a hard-fought battle with the Pioneers of Transylvania.
WIN STREAK: The Panthers enter the match-up riding a five game win streak dating back to February 14 when they dropped a tough road contest at Transylvania. During the streak, the Panthers have built momentum defeating Rose-Hulman, Earlham, and MSJ as part of their HCAC Tournament run.
