DANVILLE, Ky. – Senior Luke Eppler (Evansville, Ind.) and senior Josh Hughes (Lafayette, La.) paced the Panther attack as they helped guide the Blue and Red (3-1-1 overall) past Centre on Tuesday evening, 2-1.
 
Eppler finished the non-conference match-up with a game-high two goals, while Hughes dished out a game-high two assists.
 
The opening half saw Centre strike first as they were able to navigate the Panther backline just 13 minutes into the contest, 1-0.
 
However, Hanover remained poise as they provided the game tying dagger in the 23^rd minute. Hughes set up the attack as he was able to find Eppler who knotted the contest.
 
The second half saw the Panthers capture their first lead of the evening, as Hughes and Eppler once again connected in the 54^th minute to propel HC to the 2-1 advantage.
 
Senior Fellipe Busato (Sao Paulo, Brazil) dealt the final blow of the evening as he took a pass from sophomore Xander Ochsner (Floyds Knobs, Ind.) securing the 3-1 victory.
 
The Panthers return to action on Friday, Sept. 17 when they take on no. 3 ranked Washington & Lee. Game time from the Soccer Complex is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
