CARMEL, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers swept the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week as sophomore
Beth Cook (Goshen, Ind.) was named the Offensive Player of the Week while senior
Ainsleigh Spaulding (Independence, Ky.) was named the Defensive Athlete announced Monday afternoon.
Cook led the Panthers with a pair of hat tricks, recording her fifth straight contest with a goal. The sophomore currently leads the HCAC in total goals with 14.
Spaulding paced a defensive effort that helped post two clean sheets as the Panthers defeated Earlham 9-0 and Manchester 8-0. Hanover surrendered just two shots with no goals given up.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 5 when they compete at Transylvania.
