HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers welcomed NAIA opponent IU Southeast to the Zeddies Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon, falling in the non-conference matchup 6-1.
The Panthers were led by senior
Pablo Gallart (Serra, Spain) and sophomore
Jedrek Brodzki (Warsaw, Poland) who claimed their no. 3 doubles match 6-2, but Hanover was ultimately forced to surrender the doubles point dropping both the no. 1 and no. 2 doubles matches.
In singles action, the Panther bright spot came at no. 5 singles with junior
Connor Garrison (Louisville, Ky.) picking up his first victory of the afternoon winning a very competitive match 4-6, 6-2, 10-3.
Hanover returns to action Thursday, March 24 when they host Midway.
