HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers picked up a midweek non-conference victory on Thursday afternoon defeating Wabash 6-3.
The Blue and Red picked up a pair of doubles wins as the team of senior
Connor Garrison (Louisville, Ky.) and sophomore
Joey Keal (Louisville, Ky.) won no. 1 doubles 8-5 while senior
Pablo Gallart (Serra, Spain) and junior
Jedrek Brodzki (Warsaw, Poland) captured no. 2 doubles 8-4.
In singles play, Gallart completed the afternoon sweep as he won no. 1 singles 7-5, 3-6, 10-5. Also picking up a sweep was teammate Keal who won his no. 2 singles match 6-2, 6-1.
Garrison continued his success as he defeated Zimmerman as part of no. 4 singles 6-4, 6-3.
The Panthers last win came at no. 5 singles with freshman
Alberto Castillo (Pozuelo De Alacon, Spain) securing the victory 6-0, 6-1.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 9 when they compete at Rose-Hulman.
