LEXINGTON, Ky. – Panthers bow out of Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Tournament after falling in the Championship to Transylvania, 16-7.
Leading the Blue and Red was junior Masi McNally Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) with a team-high three goals. Junior Taylor McNally Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) added two goals.
After falling behind early, junior Taylor McNally Henriksen halted the surge pulling HC within 8-1 in the second frame.
The Pioneers added two more blows before strikes by Masi and Taylor sent the Panthers into the fourth quarter trailing 14-4.
The final Panther goals came from the sticks of freshman
Katie Comer (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Masi as the Blue and Red fell 16-7.
Hanover wrap up the season at 10-7 overall and 5-1 in the HCLC.
