WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Hanover Panthers (2-2-1 overall) hit the road for Otterbein on Wednesday evening, falling to the Cardinals in a hard fought 1-0 battle.
Leading the way for the Blue and Red was junior
Luciano Salemi (Indianapolis, Ind.) with a game-high seven saves.
Early woes doomed costly for the Panthers as they were forced to play a man down for much of the contest. However, the defense stood tall holding Otterbein scoreless for nearly 44 minutes in the opening frame, 1-0.

The Cardinals continued to attack using their forward pressure to secure the non-conference victory. Otterbein finished with 25 shots, 10 of which landed on frame.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 17 when they welcome Ohio Northern. Game time is set for 1:00 PM from the Soccer Complex.
