CARMEL, Ind. – Sophomore Beth Cook (Goshen, Ohio) was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
The sophomore helped lead the Panthers to a 1-1 week as they defeated Asbury 6-0 but fell to ranked Ohio Northern, 3-2. In the season opener, Cook made herself known as she charted a hat trick while firing a game-high 12 shots, 11 of which landed on frame. She also added one goal in the teams contest at ONU.
 
The Panthers return to action on Friday, Sept. 9 when they welcome Saint Mary's College. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.
