Hanover welcomes Richard Warren as new Assistant Athletic Director

HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover athletic department is excited to welcome the addition of Richard Warren as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing, Special Events, and Community Engagement. 
 
"I am extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to serve Hanover College.  I would like to thank Vice President and Director of Athletics, Lynn Hall along with the search committee for this opportunity," added Assistant Athletic Director Richard Warren.
 
Richard comes to Hanover with a wealth of knowledge in leadership and development, event and promotional planning, as well as fundraising and sponsorships. He spent the last year serving as the Athletic Director at Knox High School, IN where he honed his craft.
 
Prior to Knox High School, Richard spent a brief stint at West Central High School, IN where he played an integral role in leading their athletic programs and establishing a partnership with nearby Bethel University. 
 
Richard also brings with him a coaching background most recently serving as assistant women's basketball coach at Goshen College.  Richard's coaching career covers nearly two decades with stops at the NCAA and NAIA levels.
 
"I am very excited to add Richard to the Hanover College athletic staff.  His experiences at the high school level and at three institutions of higher education will serve us well," said Lynn Hall, Vice President for Athletics.  "Richard rose to the top of the list of over sixty candidates for this position, "said Hall.
 
Warren graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor of Arts degree before furthering his education at Indiana State University where he obtained a Master of Science in Sport Management.
