Daniel Stokes named Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover College Athletic Department is excited to welcome the addition of Daniel Stokes as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Daniel brings with him a wealth of experience after serving on the Miami University, OH staff.
 
"We are excited to have Daniel join the Panther staff," said Lynn Hall, Vice President for Athletics.  "Our student athletes deserve to have a quality strength and conditioning coach and Daniel fits that description," said Hall. 
 
While at Miami University, Daniel assisted the Baseball, Softball, Swimming & Diving, Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Field Hockey programs while completing the internship curriculum provided by Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Internship Coordinator, Mike DeRoy.
 
Prior to joining the RedHawks staff, Daniel developed his craft serving as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for North American University Stallion's. During his stint, he organized and programmed weight room sessions for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Men's Soccer. Daniel also served as the Defensive Pass Game Coordinator and Linebackers Coach implementing defensive schemes and game plan strategies.
 
He graduated from Texas State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and is set to earn his Master's Degree in Kinesiology in 2024 from Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
