Box Score Hanover, IN - The Panthers took on the Rose- Hulman Fightin' Engineers this afternoon in their third conference game of the 2024 campaign.

The game was back-and-forth all first period, with both teams putting together quality attacking possessions, and both keepers getting their hands on the ball early. 

HC narrowly out-shot Rose 6 to 5 in the first, but the Fightin' Engineers were able to put two more of their shots on frame than the Panthers. Freshman goalkeeper Ben Howard closed the half with 3 saves, score still 0-0.

The second half play was not as closely contested on the stat sheet as the first - HC was able tp put up 7 shots to Rose's 1, forcing Rose's keeper to make 5 saves.

The Panthers were able to pressure the Engineers nearly all game long, even getting 8 total corner kicks, but left without anything to show for it on the scoreboard. The contest would go on to end in a tie at 0-0, and freshman goalkeeper Ben Howard ended the contest with 4 total saves. 

Hanover is now 1-1-1 in conference play and will return to action Saturday October 12th at Manchsester University for a 3:30PM EST match-up with the Spartans.
