LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Hanover (4-7 overall, 1-1 HCLC) Panthers found themselves locked in a Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference battle at Spalding, surrendering the contest 15-12.

The nail-biting contest had you reaching for popcorn from the opening draw control as the Panthers were able to surge ahead 2-0 in the opening frame. But Spalding responded at the 10:35 mark before Comer and senior
Taylor McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) delt a pair of goals, 4-1.
The Golden Eagles began to soar in the second frame recording six straight goals to flip the script in their favor, 8-5.
Sophomore
Natalie Mullin (Greenwood, Ind.) found the back of the net in the second quarter cutting the difference to 8-6 before a three goal Panther outburst knotted it 9-9.
Hanover found themselves playing catch-up for much of the third frame as the two teams exchanged goals with Spalding ultimately leading 12-11.
However, with 4:38 remaining in the contest Spalding was able to use a pair of back-to-back goals to push the contest out of reach, 15-12.

Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 20 when they travel to Anderson for HCLC action. Game time is set for 1:00 PM.
