HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover welcomed Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Franklin to the Zeddies Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon winning the match 5-4.
 
DOUBLES
Freshman Ashley Hunter (Manchester United Kingdom of Great Britian) and junior Alberto Castillo (Pzuelo De Alarcon, Spain) teamed up to take no. 1 doubles 8-6.
 
The Panthers dropped a tiebreak decision at no. 3 doubles as the team of senior Jaya Sivesh (Nagercoil, India) and junior Charley Williams (Jeffersonville, Ind.) surrendered the match 8-7 (7-5).
 
SINGLES
Senior Joey Keal (Louisville, Ky.) had success in singles action as he took no. 1 singles 6-1, 6-1.
 
Hunter claimed his second victory of the afternoon at no. 2 singles as he reigned victorious 6-2, 6-2.
 
Castillo won no. 3 singles 6-4, 6-3 while teammate Connor Garrison secured the victory at no. 5 singles in dramatic fashion. He won the match 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
