HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover College women's basketball team has announced the elevation of Ashley (Williams) Blanch to Associate Head Coach. Ashley enters her fourth season with the Panthers after joining the team in the summer of 2021.
Over the past three seasons with the program, Blanch has helped propel the Blue and Red to a 48-26 overall record including a 40-12 mark in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Hanover has finished among the top three in the league with Blanch on staff.
She has mentored several All-Conference student-athletes including HCAC Newcomer of the Year
Grace Bezold.
"Ashley is very deserving of this promotion," added head coach
John Jones. "It is great to see her growth recognized by the administration at Hanover College. Ashley enters year four of her tenure at Hanover and has improved her skill set every year. Our Alumni newsletter has been one of her major contributors to the program. She has a great ability to connect with the current players while remembering the past players as well. She has been the Head Coach of our developmental team for the past three seasons, which has led to the great development of her skill set and the future players of the program. Congrats Coach Blanch!"
