Panthers Struggle to Find Spark Through Weather Delays

Westerville, OH - Hanover falls to 1-2 on the road against the Cardinals of Otterbein University after almost two hours of weather delays.

The match finally got underway around 7:20PM EST, and Otterbein took a lead very early on. Nick Issacs, a senior forward for the cardinals, scored from around six yards out in the sixth minute of the first half, unassisted. This would go on to be the game winning goal for the Cardinals.

The Panthers, only getting up 8 shots with five on frame, walk away certainly feeling like they still had more to give. Freshman goalkeeper Ben Howard saw all ninety minutes of action tonight in cage. Howard faced 19 shots tonight, 9 of which were on cage, with 8 saves.

HC moves through Ohio into Columbus for a quick turnaround to take on Capital University at 5:00PM EST.
