Wilmington, OH - Today, the Hanover College cross-country team took part in the Jenna Strong Classic hosted by Wilmington College. The Panthers finished 6th overall in a field of 27 teams.
Senior
Callie Swegman lead the Panthers today in the women's 5k, crossing the finish line at 18:49.8, finishing 6th out of 194 total runners. With her time of 18:49.8, Swegman now also holds the 6th fastest time in the history of Hanover College in the women's 5k race.
Sophomore
Kaylee Kinser also made history in the Hanover record books today with a time of 18:57.0. Kinser's time earned her 10th overall in the race, and 9th all-time in the Hanover College record books.
The Panthers will ride the momentum of these great successes into the HCAC Championships in Shelbyville, IN on Saturday November 1st, race is set to began at Noon EST.
