LEXINGTON, Ky. – Hanover (18-7 overall, 12-6) concluded the 2024-25 regular season on Tuesday evening, dropping an intense road contest at Transylvania, 74-66.
Hanover opened the HCAC contest against Transylvania strong as Bezold recorded back-to-back shots that pushed Hanover in front 13-12. Despite the Panthers' offensive success, the Pioneers were able to claim the first-quarter lead with a three-pointer as time expired.
Transylvania pushed the difference to 16-13 when Bezold dominated in the lane with six straight points. Senior
Katherine Benter (Brownstown, Ind.) knotted the contest 21-21 at the 6:51 mark. The Pioneers claimed their largest lead to date following a 7-0 run for a 31-27 halftime advantage.

Sammy Berman (Independence, Ky.) jumper. Hanover claimed their first lead of the second half with just eight seconds to play in the third following a junior
Kaitlyn Lorenzi (Brentwood, Tenn.) three-pointer, 44-41.
Bezold propelled the Panthers to their largest lead of 46-41 capitalizing on a
Mykayla Moran steal. Despite the scoring outburst, Transylvania remained calm and challenged the Blue and Red. Bezold tied the game 52-52 with 5:34 to play before the Pioneers captured a double-digit difference. Transylvania never looked back securing the 74-66 win.
