Softball Sweeps the Final Wekeend of the 2025 Season

ANDERSON, Ind. – Hanover (13-19 overall, 9-9 HCAC) completed the season finale sweep of Anderson on Monday afternoon taking game one 9-8 in nine innings and winning the night cap 7-6.
 
GAME ONE
IN THE CIRCLE

Senior Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the start in the circle, throwing six complete innings with one strikeout.
 
AT THE DISH
Hanover claimed the early lead with a two run first inning. Sophomore LauRie Harmless (Coatesville, Ind.) and freshman Lilly Cunagin (Indianapolis, Ind.) both had an RBI, 2-0.
 
The Panthers added another run in the second inning as Harmless delivered once more, crushing a ball to center field, scoring senior Sydnie Raisor (Campbellsburg, Ky.), 3-1.
 
The fourth inning saw the Blue and Red push their advantage to 5-2. Leading the charge at the plate was freshman Ashley Fulton (Hanover, Ind.), who singled to right field, scoring junior Jade Wims (Indianapolis, Ind.).
 
Anderson was able to use a two run seventh inning to force extras, 6-6.
 
Hanover responded in the top of the eighth inning off the bat of sophomore Olivia Planck (Lexington, Ky.) who doubled to center field, driving in two Panthers, 8-6.
 
With the contest tied in the ninth inning, Fulton registered an RBI with a double to left field that secured the Panther win, 9-8.
 
GAME TWO
AT THE PLATE

After falling behind 4-0, Hanover rallied to complete the sweep. The scoring started in the third inning as Harmless homered to left field, scoring three Panther runs, 4-3.
 
The scoring continued later in the inning as sophomore Madi Kammer (Indianapolis, Ind.) singled up the middle to push HC in front 5-4.
 
Hanover won the contest in the sixth inning as Kammer singled to third base, scoring Beaman for a 7-6 victory.
 
IN THE CIRCLE
Lulu Van Beek got the win in the circle, throwing three complete innings, allowing just two runs on three hits.
