Junior Sammy Berman scored 14 points, including a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The contest was a very back-and-forth battle with Rose-Hulman claiming the early advantage. They jumped in front 10-3 when the Blue and Red came storming back. Wines led the charge with a deep ball before a Berman layup cut the difference to 10-8. The Panthers flipped the script by the end of the frame 19-12.

The offense explosion ensued as senior London Brooks sank a three-pointer that saw the Panthers on top 30-23. Despite the success, Rose-Hulman outscored Hanover 16-14 to pull within 33-28 at the break.

Berman dominated the opening minutes of the second frame by hitting a pair of blows in the lane, 39-31. The momentum began to shift back in favor of the Blue and Red with Wines leading the charge. The senior found success at the free-throw line to push the difference to double digits.

The duo of Berman and Wines paced the rest as they had success down the stretch to secure the HCAC victory 65-58.

Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 17 when they host Mount St. Joseph for Alumni Day. Tip-off is slated for 1:00 PM.
