Box Score HANOVER, Ind. – A strong first quarter helped lead the Panthers (12-8 overall, 6-7 HCAC) past Earlham on Saturday afternoon in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action 82-43.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lorenzi sparked the Panther offense netting back-to-back three pointers that helped propel Hanover in front 10-2. Vlcan pushed the lead to double digit at the midway point in the opening frame. The offense remained red hot closing out the frame with a 22-6 advantage, including eight points from Lorenzi and Vlcan.
The scoring slowed a bit in the second frame as the two teams exchanged buckets. Hanover was able to get key contributions from Wines and Ernstes to off set the Earlham offense en route to a 34-20 halftime advantage.
The Panthers had it raining three-pointers in the second half connecting for four in the third frame. Wines added eight points in the opening two minutes to propel the Blue and Red in front 42-24. Lorenzi and Wines reached double digits, as Hanover entered the fourth quarter leading 59-29.
Hanover concluded the contest with 13 in the scorers column en route to the victory.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Rose-Hulman. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
