MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Hanover (1-2 overall) picked up their first win of the season as they hit the road for Huntingdon, 5-4.

Sophomore
Julia Jarrells led the Panthers with two goals on three shots. She also had three draw controls and a ground ball.
Sophomore Quin Cherry added a goal with two assists for a team-high three points.
In frame, junior
Emma Williams claimed the win with a game-high seven saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover captured the 2-0 lead in the first frame as Jarrells found the back of the net at 6:36 followed by teammate, Cherry at 4:52.
Huntingdon responded in the second frame recording two goals, 2-2. However, the Panthers continued to battle as sophomore
Alysha Baker and sophomore Brooklyn Walker both had goals to push the advantage back in favor of the Blue and Red, 4-2.
What became the game-winning goal, came with 8:06 remaining in the fourth as Jarrells propelled Hanover to the win.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 28 when they travel to Otterbein.
